mySilicon Compass to partner with Scherer Valentine Consulting, LLC on Workforce Partnerships, Project Management and Research and Analytics Consulting

mySilicon Compass, LLC has announced that Fran Valentine, an expert in workforce research, data analytics, and policy, has joined the company as Executive Advisor for Workforce Partnerships, Research, and Strategy. In this role, Ms. Valentine will leverage her extensive experience to help clients align talent ecosystems with employer demand, expand market competitiveness, and foster public-private partnerships to drive job creation and investments in emerging sectors across the U.S.

Ms. Valentine is also the President and CEO of Scherer Valentine Consulting, LLC, where she advises clients on economic development, workforce alignment, program and policy development, project management, and analytics. Her career spans over 12 years in leadership roles focused on strategic planning, operations, and research administration. Most recently, she served as Chief Business Intelligence Officer for the Governor’s Workforce Cabinet (GWC) in Indiana, where she led workforce planning initiatives, co-developed Indiana’s online workforce hub, and led the redesign occupational demand model that that will inform over $250M in funding for education and training programs.

Ms. Valentine’s professional background includes leadership roles at the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, the Center for Aging Research at Regenstrief Institute, and the Indiana Economic Development Corporation. In these positions, she spearheaded initiatives in workforce solutions, research, data management, and economic development projects. She has also held a federal appointment with the U.S. Department of Labor Workforce Information Advisory Council and served as a Bureau of Labor Statistics Labor Market Information State Director.

Ms. Valentine holds a master’s degree in library and information science and has completed executive leadership training at the Paul O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and has professional experience advising on large-scale projects that align workforce development with industry needs.
